Sodexo Live!

In 2021, Kappture worked with Sodexo Live! to install 810 new fixed and mobile EPOS systems across a whole host of venues in the UK. Each venue had slightly different requirements, from hardware options to the layout of the sales areas and styles of service. Since the initial rollout, the partnership has flourished, leading to an expanded footprint now encompassing 1398 devices across the Sodexo Live! estate.

Sodexo Live! wanted to improve customer experience across their venues by upgrading to a hospitality technology solution which reduces queue times and enables cashless payment technology. 

They selected Kappture to deliver a bespoke deployment service. This took place across a 24-week roll out period and included installation, tailored training programmes, sales and stock database configuration, and flexible Go Live support.

Results

Since installation, over 1.5 million transactions have been processed through the Kappture system.

QR code ordering was implemented at selected venues during social distancing to help manage delivery and integrated card payments within a Sodexo Live! branded mobile application.

Furthermore, the introduction of new hardware onsite with customer facing screens has enabled customers to see their basket sales information, receive site specific messaging information and access QR code e-receipts, improving their user experience.

Where possible, existing hardware was re-used, providing the latest EPOS terminal technology with lower power consumption (⅓ of the power of a traditional windows terminal).

Kappture also recycled 85% of packaging used during installation and continue to carry out upgrades remotely, helping them to be environmentally friendly.

The intuitive web based back-office software allows managers and decision makers to increase efficiency, making price and promotion changes real time based on the customisable KPI dashboard.
